These pictures are from the storm that hit Friday, February 5th.
This was mid-evening:
Last check before we went to bed:
We woke up to no power, but to this beautiful winter wonderland outside!! We had a generator and propane heat fireplace so we were actually pretty comfortable!!
Play time! Keira had a blast as well as Kona and Marley! The snow was up past their bellies. It was funny to see them run and play in it! Also hard to tell when they were actually going to the bathroom. haha!!
After the snow finally stopped on Saturday. Absolutely beautiful snow glistened trees + bright blue sky!
I took this as the sun was going down Saturday. I just happened to look out the window @ the perfect time!!
Sunday we decided to head over to Camp Russell in Oglebay Park to let the dog runs and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

We have really dodged the bullet down here...very little snow compared to all that! That's fine by me, though! So glad you all are enjoying your new life up north.
BTW, I'm taking my blog private, so drop me a line with your e-mail address so I can add you. lararosier at gmail dot com.
Wow- that's a lot of snow. We got about 8-9 inches last week. Your little snow angel is precious. ;)
