TGIF!

Blue Jay Love.

I captured these 2 Blue Jays the other night. I think it is pretty sweet!

Keira was in the background going 2 blue jays, 2 blue jays!! haha!! She is my little birder. She can identify about 6 different birds. Totally Rad!

We had a beautiful weekend here! I took Keira to the Oglebay Zoo! The new attraction was the zebras and boy were they cool!! Loved them!!

She also enjoyed playing on the playground @ the zoo.

She loved the lorakeets and wanted to hold one on her arm so bad ---- instead it flew on top of my head!! haha!! They are crazy! She had a blast!

Keira the artist. She LOVES to color and draw. I think she might definitely have a future in fashion of some sort! haha! She is also close to writing her name --- exciting!! She ran in last night w/the green zebra paper and said look I wrote my name!! She was so proud!

I was sitting out on the deck the other evening bird watching and she came out in one of my shirts + high heels. Sex and the City fo sure!!

Rainbow Day.

So -- this was wacky week @ Keira's school! Yesterday was rainbow day. They were supposed to wear something with the colors of the rainbow. I found the perfect dress the night before which she agreed to wear and seemed excited.

However, come yesterday morning she had other ideas!

This kid is a fish too. She loves the water! We got her a new bathing suit and Pappy got her the goggles w/nose thing as she requested!!

She is ready now!

Happy Hump Day!

Spring!!

The weather finally got nice out! We enjoyed hitting up the park. She is a monkey climbing around on everything!

Keira also went on her first paddle boat ride! She loved it except she wanted to steer the whole time which was fun to try and maneuver! haha!

Quiet around here is never good. One evening Darin and I were in watching Molly the Barn Owl on the computer and Keira walked in! At first, I thought maybe she had gotten into one of my facial masks ---- first I asked her if it was marker on her face. She said, "Yes, it sure is!" haha!

She spent the week w/her Granny last week! We missed her soooooooo much! They did email us this picture one night of Keira on the trampoline to tide us over!!

I have always loved birds, nature etc. I have really become quite the bird watcher since our move! We have a great variety that have been coming to the feeders all Winter and now into the Spring! Snow Covered!

WOW! We have gotten hit with a lot of snow so far for the month of February! I hate to say this - but I LOVE it!!! haha!!

We woke up to no power, but to this beautiful winter wonderland outside!! We had a generator and propane heat fireplace so we were actually pretty comfortable!!

Play time! Keira had a blast as well as Kona and Marley! The snow was up past their bellies. It was funny to see them run and play in it! Also hard to tell when they were actually going to the bathroom. haha!!

After the snow finally stopped on Saturday. Absolutely beautiful snow glistened trees + bright blue sky!

I took this as the sun was going down Saturday. I just happened to look out the window @ the perfect time!!

Sunday we decided to head over to Camp Russell in Oglebay Park to let the dog runs and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Kona had fun snowball diving. She will try to fetch just about anything!! haha!
