Snow Covered!

WOW! We have gotten hit with a lot of snow so far for the month of February! I hate to say this - but I LOVE it!!! haha!!

These pictures are from the storm that hit Friday, February 5th.

Last check before we went to bed:

We woke up to no power, but to this beautiful winter wonderland outside!! We had a generator and propane heat fireplace so we were actually pretty comfortable!!

Play time! Keira had a blast as well as Kona and Marley! The snow was up past their bellies. It was funny to see them run and play in it! Also hard to tell when they were actually going to the bathroom. haha!!

After the snow finally stopped on Saturday. Absolutely beautiful snow glistened trees + bright blue sky!

I took this as the sun was going down Saturday. I just happened to look out the window @ the perfect time!!

Sunday we decided to head over to Camp Russell in Oglebay Park to let the dog runs and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Kona had fun snowball diving. She will try to fetch just about anything!! haha!

Retro Week!

The cool thing to do last week on facebook was to post retro photos. I found this old picture of me and once again got many comments on how amazing the resemblance is between us! I think it is pretty awesome and scary @ the same time!!

Snow Play!!

We got a nice snow last week! It was a winter wonderland and we loved it. Keira also got to go sled riding for the 1st time ever! She had a blast!

Happy 2010!!

WOW does that sound weird!!! The holidays came and gone! Santa stopped here and left Keira all kinds of cool stuff! We had to wake her up!! I think I was more excited than she was!! haha! It was so much fun!! I already can't wait until next year! She keeps telling everyone that Santa got the car @ the disney store - cracks me up!

She got a lot of great gifts from friends and family as well!! We had a really nice Christmas!! And we are loving all the snow we have been getting. It really makes winter so beautiful!!

Santa Baby!

Keira had her school Christmas program Friday evening! It was interesting! I couldn't leave her side until it was their turn to go in the gym......she didn't sing a word and mostly stared around and then took her hat off and started swinging it around!!! She was so cute though!!

She also had her first ever Santa encounter! She waited her turn and got up on his lap. Keep a close eye on her mouth! She does not stop talking almost the whole time! No clue what she was saying either! haha!! I just crack up every time I watch this and am glad we got it on video!! I told her to give Santa a hug near the end after she received her gift and she shook her head no and jumped off! haha!!

The Year of 3!

This is the year of 3! I turned 33 in August....Keira 3 in December. What's next? Should I play the lottery or something? hehe!! We had a great birthday weekend!!

This was Friday, Dec 11th - her birthday. She loved her new cartoon Grinch movie and her princess tent Grandma got her!!

We got up Saturday morning and got our Christmas tree!

We had another party!!

Pappy and Robyn got her the cutest new tutu and shirt!! Granny contributed the Barbie guitar! eek!

Cool plate kit I got her. She loved painting it! This will be a great keepsake!!

Now -- on to Christmas! Santa needs to get busy!! haha!!

Keira will be the big "3" tomorrow!! I can't believe it is already here. I wouldn't change a thing either! (other than earlier bedtimes! haha!)

Hey - it was game day today with or without Randel El. haha! She still managed to get a tutu in there...Gotta love her!!

I can't wait to see what she chooses to wear in the morning for her Birthday party @ school!!

Josie's Wedding!

Last Christmas my cousin Josie asked us if Keira would be the flower girl in her wedding!! Of course I was honored for the invitation and knew Keira would love it!! Well, that time quickly approached and November 28th came fast!!

These pics are from the rehearsal dinner. Josie got Keira some cute gifts which included, of course, SHOES!! She absolutely loved them!! (no brainer!)

The wedding was so beautiful! My cousin Josie looked absolutely stunning and was a gorgeous bride!!! I missed Keira going down the aisle as I was waiting outside the doors until her turn but everyone said she was cute......as soon as she saw Darin they said she took off toward him!! hehe! The reception was such a great party!!

Keira was her usual self! She was born to dance, man! She also enjoyed asking everybody w/high heels on if she could wear them!! She had so much FUN!!! I can't wait to see the pictures the photographer took!!

We enjoyed brunch Sunday @ my Aunt Carol's! Keira loves cousin Josie and also likes her new husband John a lot!! We had a fabulous weekend!!

I will post the pictures the photographer took once we get them! I know she got some GREAT ones!!

Here Comes December!!

I can't believe tomorrow is December 1st! It feels like fall just blew by! Literally!! We have had a BUSY few weeks! Here is what we've been up to:

This is what happens when Daddy is watching Keira! haha! I came home to this several weeks ago. She had the lipstick broke off out of the tube...

Next Up: Visit from my best friend Robyn and her new addition, Alex! He is sooooo CUTE! We had a great time! I am already looking forward to her Christmas visit!!!

We hit up the Christmas parade and were a few of the 50,000 that attended! It was pretty good! Keira loved it! She waved to Santa and her highlights of the night were seeing The Grinch and Shrek....that is all she talked about it!! haha!

We also squeezed in New Moon - which was AWESOME! We already can't wait for Eclipse to come out!! There is nothing like a best friend! I sure have a great one!!

Then came Thanksgiving! I cooked my first turkey......I brined it all night in a special concoction! haha! Only mistake --- I left the bag of goodies in the turkey! Yum! hehe! My mom and brother came out for early dinner then we headed to my dad's house for more family fun!

And if that wasn't enough.....Keira was the flower girl in my cousin Josie's wedding Saturday! Coming up!
