My kid is something else!! She is such a daredevil! She even asked me to take these pictures. I would tell her to jump on 3 and start counting 1 - 2 - 3 and she would say 5 - 6 - 7 - 5 and then jump! It was hilarious!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter weekend surrounded by their friends and families!  Our festivities started Friday evening - coloring eggs...

Saturday afternoon we had a mini egg hunt @ Granny's house

Billy came out and we colored more eggs!  (We made deviled eggs w/the last batch.)  She loved painting the eggs!

The Easter Bunny came!!!  Gotta love the Shrek basket!!  Who remembers Colorforms??

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend!  I can't believe there were really snow flurries today!  Craziness!  Thankfully we did get the tutu off.....hehe!!

Keira's 1st Tutu!! {UPDATED 4/3/09}

Keira's Great Grandmother (my Grandma J) sent her a cute outfit for Easter!  It is a yellow tutu and cute shirt.  It actually came Saturday and I had it hid in my closet to give to her next week.  Well, when I pulled up to the house this evening she came to the door and was wearing the tutu!!!  She had the biggest smile on her face!  She loves it!!  She had  pulled the box out of my closet and helped herself!  

It's all good.    

It was so nice outside today.  We enjoyed the evening around the house.....in the tutu....

And even after she got out of the bath.......over her pajamas w/my black boots on!!

Okay folks, she slept in the tutu and also wore it to daycare today and still has it on as I type @ 6:09pm.  We have created a monster!  hehe!

Catch Up!

Wow!  Busy week!  I have been swamped @ work!  I have been meaning to do a post since Monday!!  I just haven't found the time. 

So here goes it.

We had Chasity and her family (Chris, Chance and Aidan) over Saturday evening.  I made some homemade chicken w/rice soup and baked fudge for dessert.  The soup was a little spicy!  The baked fudge rocked!!  We enjoyed coronas w/limes too!  Keira had a blast running around playing w/Aidan!  Chasity took some great pictures - I will upload them when she gets them to me!

We played outside for a bit on Sunday.  Keira loves flowers!  She also loves to jump off of everything - including the big rocks by the pond!  She is so silly!

And....talk about silly.  KONA and her rock!

We took a walk down to the neighbor's house one evening.  As usual, Kona and Marley joined us!  Keira is holding 1 doll, 2 pieces of mickey cheese and a headband.  She likes accessories!  She usually grabs several things before we can ever go anywhere to take.

She is also obsessed w/washing her hands, lotion etc.  Darin gave her a bottle of lotion the other day.  I came out to check on her and this is what I found...

Unfortunately, she wore them backwards and would not let me turn them around!




She also fell asleep in them - luck 'o the irish!!!

Spring has sprung!!

The weather was beautfiul this weekend! It was great to finally spend some time outside! I took Keira to Ritter Park to enjoy the playground. She had a blast!

STOP! It's Keira time!

I was facebooking the other night and Keira had some marker fun!  I do have to admit - the washable crayola markers are awesome!  The marker starts coming off right away when any liquid hits it.  Highly recommend those!  

Keira is all girl.  Every morning she wants hose, a dress and dress shoes on.  It is becoming a real nuisance!  Her teacher told me today she didn't even go out and play w/the other kids because she wouldn't take her dress off and put sneakers on!!  

Chasity and I headed to Rocco's Saturday night for our girl's dinner.  It was delicious as usual!!
